ADME Assays
We provide comprehensive ADME assays supported by advanced LC/MS technology, offering both single and triple quadrupole systems for precise quantification, sensitivity, and robust analysis of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics.
Capabilities and Services Summary
ADME Kinetic Solubility
Kinetic solubility measures how well a compound, initially dissolved in an organic solvent like DMSO, remains in solution after being diluted into aqueous media. It’s commonly used in early drug discovery to assess and compare candidate solubility profiles.
ADME Cytotoxicity-Hepatotoxicity
ADME cytotoxicity-hepatotoxicity assays evaluate how drug candidates affect liver cell health while considering absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion. These tests, often used in early drug discovery, help identify compounds with potential liver toxicity before advancing to in vivo studies.
ADME Lipophilicity
ADME lipophilicity assays assess a compound’s affinity for lipids versus water, typically measured as LogP or LogD. Lipophilicity affects how a drug is absorbed, distributed, and permeates membranes, making it crucial for early drug discovery decisions.
ADME Permeability
This permeability assay was designed to generate Log Pe values for medicinal chemistry compounds and classify each as having high or low passive membrane permeability. The method employs a high-throughput workflow compatible with LC/MS detection, enabling broad application across both intramural and extramural projects. Results were compiled into a PowerPoint summary to support data interpretation and method transferability.
