B6.Cg-m: A Model of Diabetic Wound Healing

We have developed a model for testing efficacy of wound healing therapeutics by characterizing B6.Cg-m (B6-diabetes) (Jax Cat#000699) wound healing progression against healthy C57BL/6J mice. B6.Cg-m is a C57BL/6J based mouse strain with homozygous mutations at the Lepr locus resulting in these mice expressing hyperplasia and hyperinsulinemia.
